Terms of Service

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. About Jamurai

Jamurai is an online music practice and jam platform available at www.jamurai.com. It lets musicians play along with backing tracks, view automatically generated chord timelines, separate songs into individual stems, record practice sessions, and use related tools. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Jamurai is operated by Sergey Krohin. Questions about the service can be sent to rock.jam@hotmail.com.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Jamurai. If you are not old enough to enter into a contract where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms for you. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Subscriptions, billing and payments

Some features of Jamurai are free; others require a paid subscription as described on our pricing page.

  • Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments handles payment processing, applicable sales taxes, receipts, and payment-related support.
  • Eligible new subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the selected subscription starts automatically and the payment method is charged at the price shown at checkout.
  • The price, billing period, included features, and any applicable taxes are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your Jamurai account settings or through the Dodo Payments customer portal. Cancelling during a free trial prevents the first charge. After payment, Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • Prices may change; we will notify you in advance of any change that affects an active subscription.
  • Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.
  • How Jamurai handles personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Your content

You may upload audio files and record performances ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content. By uploading it you grant us a limited license to store, process and play it back to you (and to others only where you explicitly share it) solely to operate the service, including generating chord data and stems at your request.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any audio you upload. Do not upload content that infringes third-party rights. We may remove content that we reasonably believe is infringing or unlawful, and we respond to valid takedown notices.

5. Acceptable use

  • No attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • No use of the service to distribute unlawful, harmful or infringing material.
  • No reselling or redistributing service outputs in violation of applicable licenses.

6. Intellectual property

The Jamurai software, design, and all content we provide (excluding User Content) are owned by Jamurai or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Automatically generated results (such as chord recognition and stem separation) are produced by machine-learning systems and may contain errors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jamurai will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory consumer rights.

9. Termination

You may stop using Jamurai and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 6, 7 and 8) survive.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you (for example by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Contact
