Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains what data Jamurai collects when you use www.jamurai.com, why it is collected, and the choices you have. Jamurai is operated by Sergey Krohin, who is responsible for the personal data described here. We collect what is needed to run the service, and we do not sell your personal data.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, and password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
- Your content: audio files you upload, recordings you choose to save, and the results generated from them (chord data and stems).
- Usage data: basic product analytics such as pages visited and features used, plus technical logs (IP address, browser type) needed for security and debugging.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. We never receive or store your full card details; Dodo Payments shares only what is needed to activate and manage your subscription. See Dodo Payments' privacy policy.
3. How we use data
- To provide the service: store and process your audio, generate chords and stems, and play content back to you.
- To operate your account and subscription, including transactional emails.
- To improve the product through aggregated usage analytics.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your uploaded audio to train third-party AI models.
We process account, subscription, and uploaded-content data to provide the service you request; security and limited analytics data for our legitimate interests in operating and improving Jamurai; information needed to comply with legal obligations; and consent-based data where consent is required by law.
4. Where your data lives
We use trusted providers to run Jamurai: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Google Cloud (audio processing), Resend (transactional email), and Dodo Payments (subscriptions and payments). Audio you upload is stored privately and served through expiring signed links. These providers may process data in other countries and are required to protect it under their contracts and applicable data-protection law.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage strictly to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and, where enabled, for privacy-respecting product analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual uploads at any time from the app. If you delete your account (or ask us to), we delete your personal data and uploaded content within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact page and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Jamurai is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
